Elite catch can issue

This may be dumb but I installed an elite catch can according to the on line directions. All hoses are secured and fittings are tightened down. The threads have the thread tape on them as well. My issue is I am hearing a vacuum leak from that area. I tryed the soap method. But that showed nothing. I have no oil leak or cel showing. The car drives fine. Any suggestions. Now the tube I did remove was a hard plastic and replaced it with a rubber tubing that came with the kit.

At certain low RPMs I can hear the vacuum flowing through the catch can. Is your fitting...the one that goes into the intake manifold....it might be leaking there.

air sounds like it's flowing through the long tubing running from top of the can to the PCV connection. I hear it while the car is ideling. all my connections seem to be sound.
