v6 Borla Touring Exhaust (P/N 11776) and GMPP Exhaust

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the Borla Touring Exhaust (P/N 11776) or the GMPP exhaust?

I've listened to videos of both on both and it seems about that the Borla Touring has a little lower and smoother tone and a bit more of a rumble at idle than the GMPP system.

I also have heard that the GMPP system is made by Borla...not exactly sure what the differences are.

As far as the price point is concerned, the Borla is somewhere just south of 700 and the GMPP system is 960...a little more than the GMPP system and I could get a cat back.

I'm looking for something with a deeper/smoother tone than the stock system, but not crazy loud.

I've listened to I can't tell you how many you tube clips/vids...my girlfriend probably thinks I'm loosing my mind, because I have been trying to replicate the sound myself. I know what tone I'm looking for just can't nail it down.

Borla 11776

I have the Borla axle-back on my 2012 V6 manual.

Sound is pretty tame, but virtually no raspy sound, and no drone at all.

Thanks for the vids BigVic! Sounds sweet man!

Has it been getting louder over time?

have you thought about putting on the Borla X Pipe (P/N 60539)? What would do to the sound?

I've also thought about the SLP Power Flo, but not sure how raspy that would get at higher RPM....
