1Le Clean air oil separator for LLT

Just thought I would share the outcome. Very similar to the poster who showed his LFX. If anyone wants part numbers(all from amazon) or help, let me know.

Matt

The links to the parts are below.

Only a few things to point out. The grommet set I ordered wasnt exactly what i thought it would be and I would recommend a different plug but I made it work. Shoved a few i there and tightened it up with the hose clamp.

Also I have some spare 1/2 in Oil line tubing so i re used that. Purchase on Amazon or local auto parts store.

Nice, glad I could help. My review after about 1k miles on it so far(I drive a lot for work at the moment), is very good. Idle is smoother. I used torque pro before and watched the idle, both cold start and warmed up, and the tach definitely doesn't jump as much.

It sounds a little better on deceleration. I have LT headers and highflow cats and custom exhaust. It would make a rapid gurgling decel pop before. Now its just smooth and has the occasional and random, pop pop pop.

Less air suction sound from the engine bay than what i had before. I believe that this set up sealed up the vacuum a little better(not proven).

And best of all no more oil in the intake tube.

All in all this mod is highly recommended for V6 LLT in my opinion.
