ZL1 FUEL PUMP IN LLT/LFX CAMAROS

Does anyone know for sure if you can replace the stock in-tank fuel pump in a LLT/LFX Camaro with a ZL1 fuel pump? I know it fits perfectly in the tank but my question is, does the ECU or FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE need to re-programed for use in this application? OR, can you simply install the ZL1 pump with no program modifications?

You are correct SC2150. I have had a few others with LFX's tell me they have already done the conversion with no issue. I ordered a ZL1 pump and will install it and verify LLT install. I'm preparing for the LFX engine conversion and I want to be sure I have more than enough fuel coming from the tank pump.

The part number for the ZL1 fuel pump is GM #19303293 or AC/DELCO # MU2101. Replaces GM# 19260557 & 19258436.

Installed ZL1 pump into my Twin Turbo LLT. Works perfectly with no modifications or programming. I cut a hole under the seat, as several others have done, to do the install and it was so darned easy. I'm a happy camper. Before on stock pump, I would see a reduction in fuel pressure (35 PSI) when I used the NOS. Not anymore with the new ZL1 pump, rock solid at 45 PSI! Thanks to everyone for information given to make this a success.
