Both versions (actually, ALL versions -- the V6 with either transmission & both of the V8s (which also means with either transmission)) have traction control. Traction control has several settings of "nannyishness", including the option to turn it off. In addition to traction control (which is intended to minimize wheel-spin under acceleration), they all also have "Stabilitrak" (which is intended to address dimensional stability beyond just wheelspin under acceleration), which can also be dialed down or turned off.
Additionally, all have anti-lock brakes (which cannot be turned off.) In addition, the LS3 version (the LS3 and L99 share some components but are substantially different), which is mated to the manual transmission, has "launch control" to minimize wheel-slip in full-out standing starts and no-lift shift feature to help with redline shifting. The L99 needs neither of these, really, because both functionalities are basically part of the design of the automatic transmission itself.
