Anybody getting the AIR BOX

Is anyone going to add the GM Air BOX to your L99? What do we expect it to accomplish horsepower wise? Will this affect AFM and change the exhaust note? Just looking for thoughts.

I'm strongly considering this myself.

It won't affect AFM or the exhaust note.
I'm guessing it'll be good for around 10-15hp.

I'm hoping someone will post details about it before my order gets picked up...

Considering it. Based on Howard's (Redline Motorsports) dyno, one of those and a better exhaust could help things a lot and not just the exhaust note.

Still legal in 16 states. It's happy. It's fun. It's Happy Fun Car.

15-25 hp sounds highly optimistic. I wouldn't get my hopes up for that kinda gain.

Maybe it could make up for the lack of power between the two.

LS3 gets 426 horses. L99 gets 400 horses. add about 15 horsepower, and you're closer to the Gearbox's power.
