2 questions....Header/exhaust mods...

So,
Talked to my shop I will be using for ALL my upgrades and have a few questions....
It will be getting..
Stage 1..
Headers (KooKs or American Racing)
Exhaust (CORSA or SLP)
VARARAM intake
Electronic cut-outs
Tune

Stage 2..
Supercharger

1. Should I wait til AFTER the break in period to drop the car off and let them tear into it?

2. I was told by the shop that almost ALL of the headers coming out for Camaro right now are full sets that run all the way back to the rear axle, only allowing for an "Axle-Back" exhaust to be utilized. Why are they saying this? I for one have listened to sounds clips of Kooks headers w/ CORSA exhaust and I know for a fact that CORSA does NOT offer an "axle-back" exhaust, only cat back...

Im not an advanced gear head but do know a bit more than the basics.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i dont think these people know what thier talking about. you can get seperate parts from anyone, i have the ARH set up but if i wanted to get just the headers i could have done that and gotten the rest from SLP. this is America, you can do anything you want Id say put a thousand or 2 miles on it before you put in a suppercharger though

Thanks Nugs
Yeah not plannin on doin the supercharge for a while, gonna run the exhaust/intake/tune for a while before gettin into that one.

So does anyone recommend one way or the other to do a proper break in before this things hits the shop? Or just let them have it?

This is not gonna be a track car, just a daily driver/show car.

sounds like im in the same boat as you snuggs with the blower. I already have like 2400 on mine. just stay below 4000 RPMs and try not over do it with excelleration, just take it easy for about 1500 miles, thats what your owners manual says but alot of mechanics will say 1000, once you hit the 2000 mark your golden and it should be well broken in
