Exhaust/converter question

I'm sure this has been on this site already, but I couldn't find so figured I'd ask myself.....

If I installed the cat delete kit is it possible it may set DTCs or turn on my SES light? It has spots for the ho2s sensors but I'm still not sure, and not at all interested in spending money to look at an engine light.

Any thoughts are appreciated

you'll probably need a tune to get it turned off...would be a good idea to get it running right anyway.

IF you are talking about removing your cats you will need a tune to turn it off.

not sure what's included in the cat delete kit you are talking about, but like the others said it will throw a code unless you get a tune to turn the code off or get O2 simulators to trick the computer into thinking the cats are still there.

i have had bad luck with the sims tho as they tend to go bad a lot (at least they did on our 4th gen) so for less headaches a tune is the way to go. you can always get your tune adjusted as you add other mods too.
