Does a K&N Air Filter yield any horsepower gain on a 2012 SS or this just advertisement hype to get someone to buy a $50 air filter?

Lil... not like a ton tho
A friend got 12-15HP out of his vs Stock "paper" !
The best a bought them is they last much longer and better flow

Edit: Opsss..I should of been more clear, I do believe he had their K&N cold kit and customized it from his stock one
Never the less I'd go with what RacnJas.. states, me friend was going off K&N's info

12-15 is very unrealistic for just a filter... I tried it myself because if those gains were really possible from the K&N in the stock box I never would have bothered designing/building our cold air intake system, or buying anyone elses for that matter.

Check out this thread for info on our intake: https://www.moderncamaro.com/forum/v8...eo-inside.html

They are still currently in design, and waiting new parts to arrive from various manufacturers.
