Well, it came out pretty good. I had to go get some tubing from the local parts store but it was the easiest install. And it really opened the intake side up and cleaned the look under the hood.

Did mine and I like it a lot. I may need to extend the hose coming of the radiator as the tube pushes it down some. But I am very pleased with the fit and performance.

OK got bored today and took off the AC and cut off the corner at the water bottle and fender to allow more air to the filter. The 2X4 scoop opening just bothered me. Will see tonight at the track if it made any difference.

I will try and get some up. I cut the lower box leaving the front mount. took the scoop opening and cut around the corner and along the fender side of the box. Still have the side facing the engine and the back of the box. No changes to the upper part of the box.

Did you notice any difference from this? When you said AC, I was thinking to myself, "Why did he take out the air conditioning stuff?"... Kind of hard to tell what you did on the pics...

That Blackwing comes with a high flow filter doesn't it? I wonder where/how it's manufactured. On the SLP website, just from looking at the 2 different pictures, in one pic the one filter appears to be made of K&N like construction, while the other picture looks exactly like an S&B made filter.
