Ok I need Ideas, thoughts or what ever, I have 2012 SS Vert 45th I am looking for cam ideas ( By the way it is an automatic ) L99 I want power , sound and reliabillity , yes I want it all !!!!!! I know I have to eliminate the DOD ( Yes I know that is not what GM calls it ) Who is the best supplier, for the cam , the elimination kit, programming , I will install myself.
There are several options available. You can go with a VVT L99 grind and not have to pull the heads to change the lifters. Now most of these cams are going to be on the mild side because of the variation in timing.
If I were in your shoes, I'd call Phil at Advanced Inductions. Have him suggest a cam grind, then since you will have the heads off send them in. Have the 275 port job and you will have an easy 470-500rwhp. Phil knows his stuff and can make power in an L99 N/A.
