American Racing Long Tubes - Worth the $$$

I'm thinking about getting American Racing Long Tubes. Are they worth the money or should I get cheaper headers and get a complete exhaust with it of a CAI?

Whatever you get, make sure there's a real WARRANTY, and that they're 304 Stainless, including all fasteners.

I went with OBX when I got my headers because of the price...I got a really good deal on a set of 1-7/8 304 stainless steel headers with HF cats. TSP headers were slightly more (about $40) at the time for the same size and quality. Either way you can't go wrong. Even if you wanna shell out the extra cash for ARH, Kooks, or whatever. Regardless of what anyone says, I personally feel that they all offer the same quality and performance. People just buy certain brands for their own reasons...

Which size did you go with? Any noticeable difference in heat with the coating?

1/78 with headers and 2and half exguest. AND WHEN I SAY NO DRONE I MEAN NO DRONE WITH THIS SYSTEM. it sounds sick when you star it up and really shines when you get on it. as far as the coating goes it will kept the heat in the headers. does it really make a big diffents some say yes and some so no. but for the price i paid i could not pass it up

You can pay around $500 for Texas Speed or almost $2,000 for Kooks. Get the same HP numbers so you decide.
