V-Max ported TB or BBK's 95mm TB?

Okay Im slowly getting the usuall bolton mods done to my new 2012 LS3 convert. I had the V-Max ported Tb on my 2011 V6 and it was worth it for sure. But I seen the other day BBK advertizing for their 95MM TB. Any atvantage of BBK'S 95MM TB on a engine that is just getting the usuall bolton mods, LT headers ,cats,X pipe, Variram (when its availiable)? Just wondering since the V6 had no other options other than the V-MAX ported stock TB. My throttle responce was sooooo much better than this LS3 and want to do some thing about it,LOL. Thanks.

I originally wanted a BBK TB...but they kept pushing the release date back and I got tired of waiting. And then I read somewhere that they were having issues with the tuning when using their TB. The V-Max has no issues with the tuning and it has shown around 8-10 hp/tq over a stock TB. And it's about half the price. I will do some research later and see what I can find out about the BBK...

Yea I'd say go with the V-Max. It looks like the BBK was pushed back yet again...this time they're saying late winter. But then you'll probably wanna wait a while to see what others have to say about it. The V-Max has been out for quite a while now and They have been getting really good reviews. They had a Youtube video where their TB made like 9 hp/11 tq over stock in a back to back pull. And I think they even have been offering a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied. I'd say go with them until BBK has been out and reviewed.

I always thought unless you change your intake manifold there are zero gains on a larger TB?

Vmax throttle bodies in stock

I the Vmax ported throttle bodies in stock.

They are ported and the quickest 7-12 RWHP you bolt on your car for the price.

$165 shipped plus your core. You'll get much better pick up and the extra ponties on top dont hurt.

Check out your car on our facebook page.

Strick - you are correct . Puting a big hole in front of a smaller hole is a waste of time and money. you have got to get a larger manifold or get some porting done.

Here are just 3 links for dynos with a ported TB. Like I said, you can't argue with numbers because they don't lie. The V-Max TB has been proven over several years to add HP and TQ.
