Wink It Has Begun! Modding that is!

Well, I finally decided to pull the trigger. I ordered some mods for my SS!

I ordered the following:

Cold Air Inductions CAI intake
Magnaflow Competition #16580 Catback
VMAX Ported TB
Elite Engineering Catch Can

I received and installed the catback over the weekend. Holy crap my Camaro sounds good now!

I'm still waiting for the other parts to come in, but should receive the intake and catch can this week and the TB in a week or 2 depending on how soon it leaves the machine shop. I'm excited to get everything else installed.

Your exhaust will start to sound better and louder as it breaks in. And your CAI will actually improve the exhaust note. I would prefer the CAI you bought over the K&N 63 series. Mainly because the one you bought closes off the filter in it's own box just like the stock airbox does. You will also get some decent gains with the ported TB. Numerous dynos have shown about a 10 hp/tq gain from the V-Max...you can't go wrong. Next you should conside headers!! That will REALLY wake her up!!

I'm thinking about getting headers and a tune after the warranty runs out.
