Your best bet for a good cam is to find a company or Vendor you would purchase it from and contact them. More and more cams are custom grinds. And most companies have expertise advice on what kind of grind would best suit you. If you tell them what you're looking for out of it and even what other future mods (heads, stroker, supercharger, nitrous, etc) then they will be able to make you a custom cam that will not only give you a good boost now but it will also work optimally for your future set-up. TSP is a good place to contact. And there are several other good names. But I would probably go with TSP when I get mine. They'll also tell you what you need to upgrade and what can be re-used.

I have the Livernois Maxx R cam and it does not like to be driven under 1800 rpms. Makes great top end power. Livernois replaced valve springs to a dual setup as well as retainers and pushrods. They have a 2C cam that has better drivability. Car wants to buck when driven at lower rpms.
