That is the ZR-1 engine. It will fit. How much are you getting it for? The good thing is that it is a strong block with strong internals. More than likely, you will also have to get the ECU. And you will probably have your work cut out for you as far as the install...trying to make things fit and run wires and hoses and such. I have not done an install like this. But it will fit in the Camaro definitely. How are you planning on running the inter cooler?

Thanks but I was hoping for a little more info then "been done before". Yes I know it has that is why I asked if anyone had any first hand experanice with it. Like where to put the oil tank for the dry sump system, and the coolent tank for the inter cooler., but the more I look into it I think I will make more rwhp with a 427 and my current procharger. I am at 544 rwhp on my ls3. I should be able to make 800+ easy with out having to worrie about the coolent, The 427 is a dry sump oil system but it will be easy to find a place for that tank.

The only issue is locating the dry-sump tank and the oil pan (being a dry sump pan) may not fit as far as width in the gen5 F body's K member.

As far as PCM, there is not going to be a lot of difference so I assume just the proper tuning is all that would be needed. You can find a stock LS( tune file in the repository on HP Tuners site if your a member to compare the parameters and tables.

The rest is pretty straightforward.

What engine/trans do you have right now? There are much more cost & labor effective ways to achieve your goal that a LS9 swap.
