Fuel Grade

Hey guys,

I bought a 2014 2SS M6 I'm running 94 Octane. I'm just wondering if you can run too much octane in the LS3? The owners manual says at least 91 nut I was wondering what you guys run...

I run 93octane on me Shadow (2SS-A6), we don't have any stores that run 94 or higher.. unless (we) you go to the Airport.. witch those fuels IMO are a bit pricy &
its mainly jet fuel / racing fuel, witch it burns cleaner but also from what I understand its not meant for stock or OEM motors, your better off buying a fuel booster IMO

91 - 93 depending on the tune is fine. Sunoco 94, if you can find it anywhere, is fine also. Anything over that is a waste of money and overkill...and can possibly cause damage.

Did you get your Q/A answered ?? are you looking for Higher Oct.. vs 94oct.. because, I wouldn't recommend it unless your doing some mega upgrades.

yea it's all good. I live in Edmonton and I go to Petro-Canada and they have 94 octane and some people told me that is too much for a stock engine so I thought I'd run it by you guys to see.
