Are you going with short tube or long tube headers? To be honest, you might as well get the LTs. The amount of work and time to install either will be the same. And both will need a tune. And both will void your warranty. So you might as well get the LTs. There are several different brands that sell the headers with HF cats/catless extensions. Shop around. Ebay, Amazon, and check with vendors. You can get some killer deals if you shop around. If you can hold out, you also might wanna wait until Black Friday!!

thanks, yes i am going with lt's and most likely JBA ceramic coated, also a friend of mine i just helped with his set up, raved about the ceramic JBA's keeping heat down..and also i will go with those high flo's yeah sad to say,,i will loose my warranty but...haha my mentality is this, its a street car,,minimal track time,,,possibly 1-2 times a year if that, and these engine are strong so i think time and usage is on my side..as long as i dont abuse this car,,all should be fine...thanks again,,

Well the engine bay is soo huge that you really don't need ceramic headers. I have stainless steel headers and my engine bay is fine. Plus, you'd have to really be cooking as far as engine bay heat is concerned before it will have any effect on anything. Just stay away from chrome (headers and intakes). Only thing I don't like about ceramic is that they're heavier and cost much more than stainless steel. But either way you'll be fine. Make sure you get a custom tune for the headers. And for the install, make sure you remove the spark plugs. If you need any tips then feel free to ask away! Good luck!!
