Nice

It doesn't look like it went very high
It made it almost to 1 mile in altitude. The rocket almost weighed 2000lbs fully loaded and had only 5 seconds worth of thrust from the 9 engines powering it.

Cool I used to build and shoot off Estes rockets when I was younger.......that was pretty cool for the size of it and also for it being anamateur. I'm curious what it was made out of and what was used for it to launch meaning fuel/engine :confused: and wonder how you shoot something like this off without the law getting involved?

He used 1 P engine and 8 N engines for a total of 8000lbs of thrust. They were solid rocket motors like the ones you get in your kits, only much bigger. He built the rocket out of plywood and fiberglass. His day job is an auto body specialist and he does extensive fiberglass work.
