1984 Camaro Berlinetta

Anyone remember the one year stereo head unit GM put in the Berlinetta model in 1984? it was on a rotating pod on the console, dumbest thing I saw in a Camaro, beside the 4 bangers :lol:

it was different but I liked the digital dash!

That digital dash was a nightmare, and the stereo was really pretty dumb. Couple guys I knew with those ripped the whole thing out to get a real stereo in there.

I liked the digital dash inmy 87 oldsmobile :D

That dash was dumb, dealers hated it. GM was trying to be cutting edge during the Knight Rider era :lol:

it looked cool and reminded me of night rider too! I did like the commercial! Very retro!
