Especially considering it had reported accident damage.
BAD ride for sure. Interesting it spent some time in Clinton Twp (very local to me).I'm amazed how clean and well maintained this car looks!
$30,000 is too much for me, even if it is rare car

Considering the purpose, that's the only one I'd consider. Who would really want a slushbox on a road course?305...no thanks
wtf is a slushbox? an auto? would it of killed gm to put a 5spd behind the mighty 350?Considering the purpose, that's the only one I'd consider. Who would really want a slushbox on a road course?
I'm just stating with consideration of what was truly offered. One had a choice of either a stick with the 305 or an auto with the 350. If I were a buyer, I'd go with the stick car.wtf is a slushbox? an auto? would it of killed gm to put a 5spd behind the mighty 350?
I do think thats what it comes down to, but as easy as it is to swap in a 6spd from a modern car into a third gen, its a wonder you dont see more 6spd 350 cars around.A lot of people have said a 350/5 speed f-body would of been faster than the 350/6 speed Vette because the vette weighed more. I don't know how true that is since the vette has the better 350, but GM wouldn't let anything touch their Corvette. *Cough* Fiero *Cough*
why swap in just a 6 speed when you can also swap in the modern engine at once?I do think thats what it comes down to, but as easy as it is to swap in a 6spd from a modern car into a third gen, its a wonder you dont see more 6spd 350 cars around.
true that, but there is nothing wrong with an old school v8, especially if you blow all your money on a t56 and dont have enough for a modern motor. id personally like to do a third gen with a pontiac 455 and a t56....how fun would that be??? torque monster!!!! throw on some edlebrock heads, a roller cam and a single plane torquer 450+hp and over 500fptwhy swap in just a 6 speed when you can also swap in the modern engine at once?
I believe it probably comes down to money. Most third gen guys are cheap. It's odd since there are so many nicely done foxes out there.I do think thats what it comes down to, but as easy as it is to swap in a 6spd from a modern car into a third gen, its a wonder you dont see more 6spd 350 cars around.
Because you keep the heart and soul of the vehicle when using the original engine.why swap in just a 6 speed when you can also swap in the modern engine at once?
It was faster than the auto as well............seriously.I'm just stating with consideration of what was truly offered. One had a choice of either a stick with the 305 or an auto with the 350. If I were a buyer, I'd go with the stick car.
