Are you saying you are running 91 on a 93 tune without re-tuning for 91? If so, that's suicide man....

Yea man its cuz i came out here to California and the gas here blows but i was talking to a guy at one shop that works on ls series engines and he told me i can just use octane booster and i wouldnt have to retune so thats what i started to do.

OK, that's different than saying your running 91 and no tune! ;)

Just mix on the high side for safety. I mix at 4oz per 5gals for either Torco or Lucas and get no KR on my 93 tune....

Oh, and a word of caution on your LT's, cam & centri SC. They won't pass a visual here. You'll have trouble registering here with those mods... :(
The 2nd dyno was b4 i started using octane booster thats why i lost power and torque i just got it dynoed because it was free it was a dyno day at brothers performance it like mostly a mustang show but a bunch of us camaros showed up and even on 91 octane b4 octane booster i still came out with the most horsepower for 200 dollar 1st prize :D. Lucas is what im using now ive never used torco is it good which one do u prefer? Oo yea i no that ill never have it registered here im in the marine corps that why i am here my car is registered in my home state NJ.

I use Lucas primarily now. It is easier to source and administer than Torco. The smallest size I have found for Torco is a quart. It isn't a long neck can so you need a funnel and measurement method.

Oo ok good 2 no I'm actually going tomorrow to a shop in Escondido to get my car retuned
You should call Ted @ Jannetty Racing. He can remote tune for you so you can have both tunes available to use at a moments notice. I had mine redone by him to sort out some issues from another tuner and the car is tits!! The data logging isn't hard and my car has never been better....

Depending on the SCT tuner module you choose you can store up to 10 tune variations....

Whattup Jersey...off topic but I see you're from Lakewood. I work in Kimball Medical Center quite often and I used to frequent Maggies. Small world man. On topic tho, do you guys think octane boosters really work? I've used them on NA engines but I don't think I would trust it on a high performace forced induction engine. But then again I don't think you have too many options besides getting another dyno tune...

Hey wuts up dude yea from lakewood born at Kimball lol i live off new hampshire and ronald but im currently living in san diego county due to my job. but octane boosters do work everyone that i have talked to about my car recomment using lucas octane booster or torco. as long as you follow the directions and mix what the directions say it really does help especially out here in cali cuz all they have is nasty 91 octane not like the good stuff they have in Jersey. I got my car retunned for 91 octane because i wont find higher over here but im still gonna put booster in my gas to give me the extra octane boost.
