AND, don't forget the BETTER LOOKING CHEVY TAHOE HYBRID! I was amazed what little parts were used in the truck from the standard Tahoe....Aluminum hood, liftgate, slightly different lines for airflow....NO ROOF RACK !

We have the concept Tahoe hybrid here a few months ago - I'll post some pics tonight!

I wouldn't mind seeing aluminum hood and tailgate on the Colorado/Canyon, would work well on a light-duty truck..and save a few pounds.

Does it just sit there or is it driven? I'd like to see what actual savings one could incur in one of those.

We all drove it....since it was only one of a few Chevy had, it was not ours to keep. That was last September I think (Note green grass, and no snow drifts!)

Electric up to 35mph, then the 6.0 kicks in. MPG is increased with mild braking (which is the best way to recharge the battery, with its regenerative brakes), and slow easy starts.

I think the latest rating was 20/22 mpg on avg.... We'll see soon - I have two orders on standby ready to be entered into the system!
