I love to see a ZL-1 Camaro with that kind of attention. Chrome bezels, high gloss finishes, microfiber upholstery, and sport seats (if they dont, I will). Not to mention a LSA in it too. Im sure the rods are forged, but surprised about the pistons being cast. But having cast pistons are okay for the power, just have to be on the money with tuning to minimize detonation after being modded (pullies, exhaust, etc).

I sure HOPE to the creator above that the Camaro's top motor will have FORGED pistons(if S/C'd)...

Nothing is worse than being able to make 700HP, with a set of cast pistons holding you back:BangHead:

Have to take the motor out (usually) to change pistons

While I hate it; I guess we cant have it all. I like to have an affordable SCed camaro there. I demand forged rods and I believe it would. I doubt the Camaro will get an improved version over the CTS-V, unless warranty claim are made by the ass load on stock power. Plus, after pulley, bolt-ons, and cam I think the threshold of 700hp will be met but not exceeded. But if the Eaton is ported, tune for race gas is made (or water/meth is use) then I say over 700hp and replace them suckers. But hell, honestly, with 700hp with a sub 4000lbs car would net fast enough for a DD and weekend track warrior fro me.

I dunno about that one. Sure the caddy CTS-v is more car than the Camaro and more upscale but looking realistically how many CTS-V owners will mod vs Camaro owners? I'm sure at least twice the amount if not more for the Camaro over the CTS-V. I will have it done within the first 6 months for sure.

Oh yeah! It has an auto. That was my problem with the old one. The wife won't drive a manual.

I want to see the price now. This is competing with the Camaro for me because I really need 5 seats and the auto makes it an option now. I think I am going to trade my current CTS in on a Escalade EXT sometime this year and in 2011 I will be looking at the CTSV or Camaro vert.
