Which model names do you think will be used on the 2009 Camaro?

Will we see classic badges?
More modern badges?
Something totally new?

I can still see RS SS & Z28 for some reason.

When I see LS - LTZ I see truck for some reason - we'll see :D

I see all new badges
Im going ss z28 (one base v8, other higher trim) and RS for a HO v6

I agree: Base, RS, SS, then Z28.:roxor:

Nah i still say the SS is top dawg.....:roxor:
Base RS SS Z28.:D

As has been said before and will be said again............:BangHead:

Any Chevy model can have an SS version..........Only a Camaro can be a Z28.

I do feel with GMS current trend to make an SS anything the Camaro SS and Z28 will be nearly identical in all the place it really counts. The reall differences being inerior, badging, wheels, ground effects (i hope not) but the drive trains will be the same.

Just one guys opinion and we all now what opinons are like...............

:hello:
Should be base-RS-Z28-SS just like the 1st. generation was.

I'm not familiar with the historical hierarchy, but I'd prefer seeing them follow this model.
 :rotflmao:

You know we can beat this horse some more, but I just wanted to point out that Dshane and I actually agree about something!:hello:

Either way in the Z28 vs. SS debate, we will know soon and will have to live with it for at least 12 months....:rotflmao:
^^^^^^^
We agree?!??!!!!:screwy:

Now wheres the fun in that?:D

I wish we had the striaght dope from Chevy so at least we could argue with some new facts instead of just speculation!

AGREE!!!!! 100%
Well, it looks like we mostly like RS,Z28 and SS.

I'm not sure if GM will offer three trim levels over the base level the first year. I feel there may be a strong possibility by the second model year. IMO.

So what are we saying here?

Base: just as it says
RS: trim level upgrade with a V6? Should it have a V8 option?
Z28: V8 and handling package.
SS: Top engine / performance package
SS should be topdawg just for the fact it stands for something where z28 is a codename of some sort which doesent make it sound awesome like SS(SuperSport)! z28 wouldint b bad if chevrolet had some others out there like the Z24 and ****... i luv the looks of those 1989-1994 Cavalier Z24's peppy buggerz
Base RS SS Z28.:D

Over used and and over rated quote, yeah only a camaro can be a z28, but that is product line from gm that also includes z24, z26, and z71......

theres more like z31-Lumina i believe and there like z22-different trim of cavalier
excalty, z is more about trim, but ss is trim and power, ss cobalt (supercharged), ss monte carlo (supercharged), trailblazer ss (ls2), mid 90's ss impala's (lt1's) where as the base impalas had L99 4.3's, ss silverados, it goes on and on.......
Hmm, methinks Z06 bucks that trend. :D
yeah thats the only exception in the z line up, but wat r we hearing now, corvette is going to ss
I personally don't think that it will be called Corvette SS, but we shall see. :)
