They say they think it'll be an LS7, but they're wrong.

More like a LSA... supercharged 6.2L V8... pumpin out around 525hp.

This car is gonna be hot when it hits the streets!

That thing is beautiful.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?
Oh hell yeah!:roxor:
What's with the fascination of LS7's? It's a handbuilt engine for a single car, geeze. :p

Anywho: awesomesauce.

Sweet, they did a good job on the front end.
I bunch of new pictures are now posted here:

Hotness!

I see they have 5 lugs this time.
SWEET! I loved the quote by Lutz in the story on Left Lane News..."it will suck the doors off the competition...." That's the kinda attitude I love to hear from a GM exec!!!:patriot:
I want to see the supercharged V8 technology trickle down into the Camaro line.
x2. Suck the doors off eh. Sweet.
wish i was 45 :) this would be my car
My only problem is the wife won't drive a manual. Unless this new one offers an auto.
WOW! This is gonna one sweet Caddy! 500+Horses :)
I wrecked my CTS about 6 weeks ago and demanded my rental be a Caddy.

Well I drove a REGULAR one for a month and they are pretty cool, but the older ones handle better.

base vs. base

I like the first gen better.

Don't get me wrong, they rock, especially the V.
sorry for your lost

What suspension does your 03 have?
The new ones have 3 levels.....FE1, FE2, FE3.
Your rental is likely a FE1 (check drivers door for RPO list).
Cuz the FE3 handles awesome. :)
The old ones had all the way to FE4.

Mine is a FE1 and handles WAAAAYYYYY better than the 08.

I drove the rental in the same areas that I drove my 03.

I leaned on the rental plenty hard, but just would not respond like my 03 would.

The pucker factor on the 08 came at about 15 mph slower than the 03.

The rearend on the 08 sits alot higher and the c pillar is HUGE.

Mind you I had a 1992 B4C 1LE FE2 Camaro that would seriously cut a curve.

I got the 03 back last week and she looks **** near perfect, and it is black at that. All BLACK.

While it was in the shop I had the grille and rear bezel both painted black. I have a guy lined up to do the wheels black and after Xmas the windows are getting done BLACK!

She just clicked over 35,000 miles.

Now on the 08 I put about 1000 miles on her while I had it. I really thought the seats were nice and the interior was trick, but there were alot of options that it lacked over my 03.

I paid $18,000 for mine 4 months ago and that 08 off the lot goes for $34,000.

I do not see a $16,000 upgrade from mine to the 08.

I still like the 08 though.

If I could build one equal to mine but an 08 with the 3.6 engine I can definitely see a $8,000 difference.

I have yet to drive the new one yet. Mine is a Lux/sport. How do I find what handling package I have?
Mine is the best handling car I have ever drove.
Brandon... there's probably an RPO listed on the drivers door.... FE1, FE2, FE3, or FE4

54inches... since that '08 stickers for $34K then it's definitely a SFI 3.6L (263hp) FE1 with hardly any options (base price is $32,990).

I'm itching to drive an '08 myself...but I wanna find a DI FE3. :D
I saw a white DI one when I worked for this third party part inspection company (did for 4 days...I needed a more stable job). It was off-white..but it was **** sexy.
