Challenger is a good looking car no doubt, but it is HUGE.
Makes sense though, because Challenger was always a bigger car.

Challenger SRT8: $39,995 + $1,700 gas guzzler tax.
Camaro SS: $30,995.

Camaro SS is $10,700 less.

lol, I'd sure like to see where they're selling an SRT8 (new) for that price

In MA there is a dealer with an orange SRT8 asking 40k but buddy at dealership said they will let it go for anything over 36k

On the flip side the larger local Chevy dealer has a Gray or Silver SS on the lot going for 43k and change (completely loaded incl automatic).

so every dealer will have different prices.

I grew up 30 min from there, that's cool. He didn't get it off the line right.

You can see the car pulling from the 1/8 mile on, I'm very impressed and like this car a lot.

C'mon dude don't make me laugh. 30k is probably for a zero options SS. You're comparing it to a fully loaded SRT8. Now a fully loaded SS is closer in range to price AND weight.

go to dodge's website, base MSRP on the srt8 $40,220, and the ss is $31,040, but dealer prices could be lower as the srt has been out for a while.
