If your friend is looking to replace his civic, then it doesn't matter how good/bad the vert would be.Any 3rd gen. vert. would be an upgrade.I know you didn't expect to see me here, but how good/bad of a 3rd-gen convertible could one get for around $4k?
A friend of mine likes the looks of 'em and is looking for a replacement for his Civic.
I bought my '92 for $2,000. Had 123k on it, and a lot of problems. Barley ran. I now have $4,800 into it... it's a lot cheaper to get them in good condition than to fix them. I still don't have AC, a broken fuel gauge, no working radio, some bodywork/paintwork, lifter tick and low oil pressure. Runs a TON better though. I've done a lot of work.Yea, I bought my 1992 earlier this year and the car has 68,000 miles.....it's hard to find these cars with decent milage on them.
