I work with some guys and they said that the 5th Gen Camaro was designed by some teenager. They said GM liked it so much they just paid the kid off and ran with it. Ok, B.S., I know. But where is that crap being reported?

Everything I've read says GM assembled a team of young designers as well as others to help come up with a new design for the Camaro

Actually it was designed by a South Korean named Sangyup Lee.

Kris Horton did a rendering of a Camaro-type car that was pretty popular back a few years ago.
I think he was like 19 at the time.

But the actual sketch that became the car was done by Sangyup Lee of GM Design.

And even if it was designed by a kid, would that really matter? If a 10 year old could draw a car as nice as they made this one, would that make it any less cool? You gotta be a kid at heart to lust after muscle cars anyways. I'm not planning on growing up too soon.

I'd be more worried about cars that were designed by 50 year olds.

Well, I just wanted to have my guns loaded sort-to-speak when this topic comes back up again. I have the three concept sketches by Lee I got at Chevy Mall. Cheap frames, but nice drawings.
