I read a thread on here stating that GM would produce 30 Camaros in October and more and more each month....shouldn't they be producing like at least 10-20,000 a month?

GM says the Camaro will hit showroom floors Jan-March 09....Can I still order a new 09 in the Fall with all the options I want and what not? :roxor:

Thanks!

I've never bought a brand new car....but can I order an 09 in Sept-Oct of 2009 and check off the options and what not...you know, like take delivery of it ? :BangHead:

I might wait for a '10 incase the 09's have bugs in them

Indeed!

Those first 30 will probably be test subjects, Crash cars ( ) and possibly even mag review cars :D. With as many as they want to sell each year, I don't think they will have any issue making enough by the time they start shipping them to the lots. :gr_patriot:

Obviously, number 1 will probably go into the GM collection me thinks....

I could be a little wrong on some of this, But I at least hope they allow someone to flog one of those cars so we can all have smokey burnout backgrounds on our PC's and for posters!!! :roxor:

I'm pretty sure all the crash test and other pre-production cars will happen BEFORE these initial 30.
These 30 are production, saleable cars, VINs #00001 thru #00030. :)

GM keeps #1 and #2, and a certain Fbodfather has claimed #3, so #4 will the the first one up for grabs. :)

Model year 2009 will be a little bit short, as model year 2010 will probably start production in late June 2009 (normal model year change time).
