Was not broken in properly it sounds like (dealers like to say things are normal or "OK" when they are not for some reason).

If you take it out and look at the flywheel portion and pressure plate there will be hot spots and divots worn in. Most likely the original owner slipped the clutch too much when it was new. Takes a few heat cycles to properly bed the friction disc to the flywheel and pressure plate.

clutch chatter

My 2014 ss rs chatters first time in the morning once then its good the rest of the day.I took it to the dealer and they said it gets moisture on the flywheel over night and that's what causes it to chatter.I don't know about that,I'v had a lot of manual cars and raced a lot of them and I don't remember any of them doing this.I also was a tech. for GM many years and never ran across this problem.Anyone have any ideas???
