I hope this is in the right topic.

I need to paint the rear decklid on my 02 convertible. It's fiberglass. I understand that on hardtops(T-tops) Z/28-Trans Ams, the fiberglass panel that separates the rear hatch from the T-tops is a pain in the ass to paint because it's thin and when you sand it, it causes the glue underneath to delaminate thereby causing the piece to bubble and warp.

I'm not sure if the convertible rear decklid is glued together similar to the wrapover piece on T-top cars or if it's 1 piece, anyone have any experience with this?
