Why is ebay nuts for allowing a seller to post a price? Can't shoot the messenger
But there is no control over it. People can ask whatever. That's what irks me about it. I can understand bids like this if they start at a reasonable level, but asking over a quarter of a mil for a non-original car? I don't think so. If it was in it's pure condition with no more than 15,000 miles on it and completely garage kept by the original owner and still had it's original purchasing documents, I could see. But custom? Sorry. It's beautiful but...

Who cares what someone asks for a car or anything.

Besides, ebay usually charges to list the auction based on the initial bid or reserve bid anyway.

On that, I'm sure this ad was more of a way to generate traffic to their company an what they do/sell, a common marketing tool that works quite well if you consider how many forums and sites that auction will be posted on

Well, I guess we just have completely opposite opinions regarding this subject then.

Well, I'll be seeing plenty of ridiculous pricing next month at Barrett-Jackson! I can't wait to see fools and their money being parted. I agree, customs prolly shouldn't bring some of the $ they do, but the same can be said for "clone" Hemi Cudas or LS6 Chevelles. Give me a mint original, low mileage, one owner 1969 Z28 anyday! (is that too much to ask?):D BTW, that custom 67 RS is neat, but that shift knob is kinda wimpy lookin'.
