Need to know who makes the best hi flowing cats out there, for the best gains when combined with longtube headers and a tune??? Can u also hollow the insides of these aftermarket cats out?? Wanna see and hear what everyone is running and what the numbers are

You can hollow them out...but then you just paid $200-$400 for HF cats just to hollow them out. There is a company that makes a bullet style tube that looks just like an aftermarket HF cat. I will try to find out what company that is. I think it's SW.

As far as best flowing, you have to consider the ceramic substrate count as compared to the stock count. Of course, the higher the count, the more restrictive...the lower the count, the less restrictive. I think that most HF cats out there all have a similar count. So there would be no significant advantage over any of them. I doubt anyone has strapped a cat or HF cat to a flow bench to see what they actually flow. But again, there would probably be no differences among the different companies that make HF cats.

Thanks Chapel, just looking to see how restrictive the texas speed ones are if i decide to go that route

I have a set that I didn't use. They would haev to be welded if ya want em lmk $100 bucks plus shipping they are yours. Not much inside so you wouldn't have to gut them.

I am on a different forum. Camaro5.com

IMO, Solo Performance make some of the best HFC out there. I have them on my L99. The sound is deeper with more power added. Doesn't through any CELs and retains factory warranty. Another popular one is from JBA. Im getting rid of mine as I am installing ARH LTH in a couple of months.

yea im gonna be installing LT headers as well, just want to see what is out there
