Do you think we will get one in 2009?

How do you get one?

I noticed this form for a current Mustang "body-in-white"
http://www.fordracingparts.com/announcements/biw-application.pdf

It says there are requirments to be able to purchase one. It says you have to be a racer or collector to purchase one. You have to provide your racing liecence and history.

The Mustang BIW is MSRP $3500, what do you think the Camaro BIW would cost?

Is it any racing sactioning body such as NHRA normal license?

Here are some pics of a 4th gen BIW.

They only sell them things to shops and race teams. Even then, the body-in-whites are in extreme demand. Paul's High Performance (One the biggest ford performance vendor) even had to use a base V6 to build that Ford GT 5.4 S/C motor powered mustang; he couldnt even get his hands on one. But, it could be different now.

As, for the camaro, its depends on GM rules, like ford's rule on purchase. If I had to say, since the camaro is based from a shared zeta platform; I think that it will sell for or less than the mustang body-in-white (the mustangs S-197 platform is unshared, exclusive to the car unlike previous gens)

I am sure they will for the 5th gens but what I was wondering was when. Did they do it for the 4th gen right away or wait a couple years?

Well if they do, again GM has smarter practices......again. If you are in the game to make money, then you shouldnt say only a few selected people can buy it; ford should listen to its daddy.
