I have a 2011 manual SS Camaro, and never had issues with my rear-end until after I installed ZL1 391 ring and pinion gears. First of course my speed o meter was wrong and my TC light would not go out. I also had no control of turning on TC, but I had no problem driving or doing multiple burnouts; sitting still or moving burnouts were no problem. After getting the trans/ rear-end tuned for the new gear, I did a moving burnout with no problem but tried a real burn out and as soon as I stepped on the brake my rear end locked up and shredded the axle. I installed GForce 850HP Axle Shafts, I did a moving burnout with no problem but tried a real burn out and as soon as I stepped on the brake my rear end locked up and broke again. This time shearing my pinion gear. Has anyone seen this or know what it is? Im wondering if my traction control system is messed up.
