Oshawa will be a flex-plant -- so we'll be able to build other vehicles in that plant.

CAFE changes everything...........but right now, no one on the outside knows what we're going to do...........

Well the see that from SS is nice. I still have my worries about "changes everything" part. I hope all that will be change (if it ever was) is making a LS3 that could be in the car, into a LS3 with AFM. That would be no problem. Subbing in a L76 instead of a LS3....I can live with. A twin turbo six, I would have to see how it reacts to others modding it before buying (I dont want it to be a pain in the wallet to mod like a TT 3000gt/Stealth r/t)

Im not sackriding crap here. Im looking for the superior car. Up to this point, all sounded like the camaro will be. I think GM wouldnt want to lose in the pony car games of 2010 (also considering it also the camaro's come back), so Im hoping a 350+hp V8 engines is still in the hat and as a supporter of this community i will have some hope on it.

I hope they make LS3 with AFM and FFV.

FFV alone would make the v8 version meet or exeed the standard without making any other change.

Agreed. I think automakers are looking into loop hole to get good cars out onto dealership lots as we speak. I just hope it something we can live with like a LS3 with AFM and/or FFV. The 2008 vette have proved themselves to be blessing environmentally, performance, fuel-wise, economically (speaking of just the engine of course), and potential.

Forget turbo v6, low displacement v8 woks for me. I just dont like how anything but a v8 sounds. Its just hard because law makers are idiots and sign off on crap they dont know anything about. They force automakers to make more strict crash requirements on cars and then tell them to lower the MPG at the same time. The hell are they going to add crash weight and lose mpg at the same time?

You got yourself backwards.
If you add weight you lose MPG.

CAFE is suppost to make them increase MPG, not lose it.
