The Chevrolet Camaro looks slated to receive the seven-speed manual transmission from the C7 Corvette for the 2019 model year.

A California Air Resources Board document discovered by AutoGuide lists the available powertrain options for the Camaro and Corvette for 2019. Both vehicles will retain the 6.2-liter Small Block V8for 2019, of course, but interestingly, it seems as though the Camaro will be available with both the seven-speed manual from the Corvette, in addition to its existing six-speed manual.
