I have a bad feeling about a Camaro in a movie like that.

Cripes, if it's a two-spoiler, clear tail light, painted bright green Camaro, I'm gonna have to hurt someone.

Says it may be a new Camaro, they BEST leave it alone!
Smart move for GM if that happens, but I still hate those dumb movies
Hopefully it's just a Cameo of Bumblebee...
Now now now, don't bag on this too much. The exposure is always good afterall.

Seriously though, there is nothing wrong with the Fast and Furious movies. They were all good for what they were: Cheesy car action flicks. There wasn't alot of substance, but there really wasn't supposed to be. It's a car show on screen with some decent action scenes. It's not exactly SUPPOSED to be riveting, ya know?

I honestly enjoyed all three movies. In the second one, the Yenko and Charger were well played in my opinion. There was nothing crazy or ricey about them. I didn't AGREE with what they did to the Mustang in the third, but it fit the story line. When in Rome right? LOL

There is one particular scene in the second movie witch makes me cringe every time I see it, just for it's sheer awefulness though. In the first scene of the movie when "Yuki" launches the pink S2000 over the bridge she yells "Woooo! Smack that ass!!!" This is the single most akward and aweful moment in a movie I've ever seen...Seriously, it deserves an award for it's awefullness.

Very true, it would be a well-placed marketing move.

I could live with it if done right, and if the movie isn't a waste of time heh.
I still haven't seen the second one yet, the first did enough damage to the youths of the US:BangHead:
I don't see anything wrong with it, the muscle cars they've had in the movie have been great IMO. Well except the last one, with the mustang...what they decided to transplant in it, although I LOVE their engines because I consider them the "muscle" of Japan...it's still not right IMO hahaha.
I did like the first one. It was fun. The last two I didn't enjoy too much. The aftermath of the first one was the worst part. Also would have helped if they had people that actually knew about cars to help out with some things.
I like to see a muscle car biased movie in 2009. You, know the best way to usher out the import craze. If the new Slow and the Curious is going to be made, I like to see imports made as cameos (that are shown as rice and dealt with in the same manner). The first movie jumped started the culture and the 4th should help kill it. We as domestic owners can do the rest, lol.
The movie certainly became a focal point for the culture, but I don't think it jumpstarted it. It certainly didn't hurt it though. These cars were very prelevent in the small town that I lived in 2 years before the movie came out. I should know, I used to stomp the crap out of them with my 4000lb beast 78 Camaro. :) (355, TPI, Custom tune, domed pistons, 65lb injectors, performance plenum and runners, 2500 stall, locally built 700R4) Never had it Dyno'd, but I was solidly in the 12s, and drove this car every day.
The end of the third one was awesome, I mean the very end, when Vin Diesel made his cameo.

Ive seen the import performance guys before the movie, but it seemed to jumpstart the actual "rice" with neon green paint and metal 3 foot wings.

agree

Before the movie it was mostly people that knew what they were doing then it seemed after the movie that everyone knew everything about imports. I remember having to argue with people about things in the movie that were not true that they just knew it was because the movie.

I had to argue that the eclipse wasnt a 4G63 (turbo car), it was a 420A (same motor in neons). And how stupid how they shift gears like 9 times.
One of the things that pissed me off the most is I had nitrous on my truck at the time and everyone kept telling me I was driving a rolling time bomb because the bottle was in the truck. A lot of people thought that nitrous would explode at the slightest impact. Even though it says Non Flamable on the bottle people still thought it was flamable. Of course there are some circumstances where it could help exelerate a fire but it would be because it would be supplying the fire with oxygen if there is fuel and fire present but even that would be a rare occurance. Of course there were many other things but that was the one that pissed me off the most:BangHead:

What's also stupid is that the truck would probably be safer in an accident than a small, light car with nitrous.

ah... I enjoyed the movies, though yes I must admitt there are some pretty stupid things that happen in it but it's still just enjoyable to watch, since movies really aren't supposed to be really realistic. but ya the shifting the O so many times was quite awkward :BangHead: but I think that having the 5th gen in the new one would be good! Just so I can see some more of it driving!!! :D

I could deal with muscle car hype. But if I hear one more person say NOSSSS, I swear im going to.........
