Hello All,
I bought my wife's car last year in June. I have seen this problem before and reported to dealer, but tonight I had the opportunity to record video of my wife in the passenger seat while the passenger airbag status light displays "Off". I'll post the video here later as soon as I can get it off my iPhone. In the meantime when traveling with a passenger please check the status. In my case, it wasn't until we parked and restarted the car twice when the passenger airbag status displayed "On"!

Be safe!

No. She is small but certainly above the weight setting that should activate it.

Have not had that issue but my girl is above the weight :lookandleave: Might want to let your dealer take a look.

What is the weight that will turn the airbag on, because my wife has yet to have the light go to on for her unless she is holding something in her lap

IIRC it says in the manual that 80 pounds will turn on the light.

My lady weighs between 83 and 85 depending on how much she ate for dinner and the Passenger Airbag Light ALWAYS goes to ON when she sits in the passenger seat.

If I hit a bump it goes off then on again (j/k)
