Production car is not complete yet, so it's not time for the crash tests yet.
I would suspect them to happen in the fall, October-Novemberish.
I would think that they have crashed a few by now, correct me if I'm wrong.
1. If they wait for production and the fenders don't crumple correctly as designed, would'nt they have to re-design the molds?
2. Does the engine collaspe down in a head on collision, so now the frame would have to be re-designed?
Or is this all tested on the computer, crumple zones on the body, engine does not end up smashing your legs, airbag deployment, etc?
Man there is so much to do in designing the new 5thGen Camaro, and so little time to produce it.
My non-engineering two cents worth.
