WASHINGTON -- DaimlerChrysler AG, Volkswagen AG and its Audi unit will announce tonight in Los Angeles that the automakers have agreed to jointly use a clean diesel technology developed by Mercedes-Benz as they seek to comply with stricter U.S. emissions standards, company officials said Monday.
