I'm getting my car dynoed next week. The dyno is a Dynojet. I'm going to dyno it bone stock, then with the K&N air filter and the Predator tune. I wanted to do 4 separate runs to see the difference between each (for general knowledge). I was gonna do stock, next with the K&N air filter and stock tune, then the Predator tune and stock filter, and lastly with both. But the extra cost to do the extra runs might not be worth the money. I will dyno again after the headers and exhaust upgrade.
Anyway, what is the difference between a Dynojet and Mustang dyno? I know the Mustang dyno calculates for real world power losses associated with driving and friction etc. But how much of a power difference is there between the two. Meaning if the Dynojet says x hp/tq, how much would that be on a Mustang? Is there any calculator or equation to figure this out?
