Thats a cool pic !!

Looks like a clay model ready for a presentation

The 5th gen equivalent would be this (which is also a clay model dressed up for presentation):

Its amazing how real clay models can look
Only difference is the clay model of the 5th gen was all milled by a machine using CAD data but the 60's model was done without a single computer!

My dad emailed this image to me earlier today, I've seen plenty of pictures from this era, but not sure if I've seen this one before :D
The nose looks ALOT longer and narrower than in the prod model.

It is still cool to see these type of pics of the Camaros. Thanks for posting this one. I'm glad someone still had access to it.

I would have preferred Wildcat.

Atleast Wildcat isn't a **** Frenchy word.
:D
Wildcat was a Buick moniker, so it couldn't be used.

I have some earlys design pics of the first gen Firebird. I have to pull the book and scan the pages. As I recall, there were some very similar design ques between the cousins. Also It has pics of the Banshee. Some of the design ques were used on the C3 Vette.

Stay tuned
