Wow! 2.7 vehicles caught on fire? Thats a lot to investigate. Maybe they just worded it wrong:hello:
hmmm. Houses getting burned down because of forclosures. Super high gas prices and now large SUVs are catching on fire. Could it be related?

nope. 41 vehciles caught fire, but 2.7 million is the total of all similar vehicles in the market that may be affected.
some GTO's had fuel rail fires due to those pretty fuel rail covers cutting into the fuel lines... but i never heard of any recalls... and luckily mine was not affected.
