I am curious to hear the first impressions of all the new Camaro owners. I have been reading every single publication that even has a sentence about our cars in it. Just a tad obsessed I am. I have to be honest I disagree and dont care for some of the articles written about our car plus the comparisons dont always seem too fair. The MT article was silly to me almost all of the cars except the joke miata were a lot more loot than our car. Also most of these mags come off as Mustang apologists. Anyway I may be an unrefined cave man so the sports car thing might be lost on me. So far the car is powerfull and handles great the sight lines are fine and I dig the interior. Im a muscle car guy not a sports car guy and thats what I expected a modern day muscle car and thats exactly what i got. Shes stunning and im loving every minute of it

When I got my car I needed new pants about every 5 min...I love the car front to back. There's nothing I would change at all. I agree with the fact that some writers seem to not give the Camaro a chance, but hey...we know what's right eh?

I don't have one yet, but when I do get one, I will be ready with a lot of spare pants.

Hell Yea!
Just buy a couple packs of depends, it'll save ya a few bucks..

There is nothing wrong with our choice of automotive excellence, others may disagree, but they can't catch us to let us know that :D

I walked away from the MT article sort of perplexed. On one hand, I thought it was a big compliment to both the Camaro and the Mustang that they'd include them in a "drivers car" competition. I mean, considering the source I read "drivers car" to mean light weight, great cornering, probably mid-engine. Certainly not territory we'd traditionally put a muscle car in. So I felt it was sort of compliment that they'd even consider including them in this list.

On the other hand, they include a couple of muscle cars and then in the text of the article sort of savage them for not being as "fun" to drive.

But the article did say that the new Camaro just needed some suspension tuning to really fly, and I think that's probably true. I'm eager to see what people can do with just a few simple bolt-on suspension upgrades and some progressive rate springs. I'll bet we'll really see some magic then. I mean, look at that rear suspension set up. It's light years ahead of the Mustang, technically. It just screams for some minor tweaks to really make it shine.

Besides spare pants or depends, you will need a bib for the drool. I carry spare napkins for the on lookers as their jaws hit the pavement. I have owned Mustangs and my twin brother drives a 2007 GT, the Camaro kicks it ass. With the up comming pending midificaions watch out, they will not know what hit them!

I love my car!!!
