In the new issue of R & T...G8 ran a 1/4 mile in 13.1 @ 109.4. 0-60 in 4.7. This was an A6, curb weight of 4000lbs. I didn't read the article yet, but specs-wise, the G8 won in every category.

IMO, Those #'s mean we'll be VERY happy with the Camaro #'s.

Mike that trap speed indicates the G8 was capable of a mid to low 12 second ET........I just ran a bunch of 12.5's and 12.6's in the Magnum last weekend with consistent trap speeds of 107-108mph.

A good driver with a set of DR's on his/her Camaro SS will click off low 12's all day long in some decent air.

WOW...cooooooooool.

The Charger SRT8 ran 13.2 @ 108.8 which I though was pretty impressive as well. (4185 curb weight and only 3.06 gears).

I got a chance to actually read the article...the writer liked both cars (all the test results were very close)...He was impressed with the build quality of both cars. It's refreshing to read that (about domestic cars) in a magazine.
