Ok guys - i need some help. In order for me to get my new Camaro, I gotta make sure my 2003 PT Cruiser is working fine so my son can have it. I'm having a slight problem with it:

When sitting still (tranny in "D"), if I have the AC or fan on, the engine begins to cycle or shake kinda heavily every 1-2 minutes. It only does this for a couple of seconds, but it makes it hard to have the AC or fan on. If I'm driving, it won't do it - it runs fine the AC & fan work fine.
I've had the battery checked & an electrical system check done - both times they told me "we can't find anything wrong".

- The car has 107,000 miles on it
- Original battery, alternator, etc.

Any help is appreciated - like I said, if it works fine for my son, then I get my new Camaro........

Idle air control sensor/valve, or whatever they call it on that particular car, It is supposed to raise the idle when the AC is on. If it is sending out faulty signals it could do that as well. Any SES lights comming on?
