According to the story, the rear pinion seal leaks, leading to fluid loss to the point the rear axle siezes up, causing "at least one crash". HUH? If that much fluid was lost over time, I think you would start to hear some noise in the rear end, wouldn't you? Anyone pay attention to their cars and the occasional noises they might make? Oh, my bad, the stereo is cranked too loud to notice!:D DING FRIES ARE DONE:lol:

I freak out over every new noise my aging S-10 makes. Even when the dash pops after warming up for a while. You should have seen me when I noticed my glasspack went bad. :D
Freezing cold weather, in the dead of night, poking around the engine and doing everything but actually crawling underneath the running vehicle in the middle of a parking lot.

I guess so. If you drive a throw-away car, just put it next to the curb when it quits, the trashman will come by and pick it up!:lol:
