That part about a 25% in fuel economy for the Tahoe and Yukon will be welcomed. The question is how much is the hydrid going to cost over the regular models?
On the SUVs I would guess at about a $6,000 price premium for the hybird models.
Hybrids are only expensive now since the technolgy is so new.
5-8 years down the road when it's more commonplace, they will be at less of a premium, and eventually one can hope that there will be no price difference.
